Chiyotairyu is 4.96 against Giku today. Can Chiyo beat him for the first time in 6 years? I'd say it's a definite maybe. Giku looked a bit tired yesterday. Giku looked a bit tired yesterday. Yeah I noticed that and was going to mention it when I was done making my picks and forgot. These are going to happen a lot with Kotoshogiku now, which is why I didn't want to say that Mitaekumi-Tamawashi was clearly the highest, because Kotoshogiku has some very good records against some rikishi in Makuuchi. I suppose if you interpret my comment as including matchups where the opponent used to be an Ozeki it's likely the Tamawashi quota is much higher on the list overall. Rocks 1,380 Posted July 10 Well, I had a great night. Would have been perfect if Okinoumi had eeked out a win. But I'll take only losing in TTT any day.
orandashoho 629 Posted July 10 Eek! He didn't eke out a win. 3 hours ago, Rocks said: Would have been perfect if Okinoumi had eeked out a win
Jakusotsu 2,890 Posted July 10 That's Bench Sumo talk. We've been eeking out wins there for decades.

Pitinosato It's pretty typical these days that they don't get updated until the end of the basho. As nice as it would be to see the results daily, there's no pressing need for it. RPedro44 78 Posted July 13 Anyone knows what's happening with the Makushita game? There are no results and the banzuke is not there either.

I had sent the banzuke to Doitsuyama one week ago, and re-sent it yesterday. But there‘s no response, so maybe Doitsuyama is on holiday... I apologize for the inconvenience. Pandaazuma 1,143 Posted July 14 I would be more than happy to host these games on my own site so that Doitsuyama doesn't have to worry about all this stuff. And of course then the games can actually do what they are supposed to do. The offer is always there, so...let me know.

Pandaazuma 1,143 Posted July 14 A brief glance at the Masters reveals a straight-up battle for the Green Mawashi between Gurowake and Norizo. Panda, Konosato and Flohru have outside chances but would need to improve quite a bit.
Pandaazuma 1,143 Posted July 15 Oracle Day 9: Leader: Pandaazuma Norizo, Gurowake -4 MechaJejima -7 Gansekiiwa -11 Choshu-Yuki -12 Haidouzo -16 By the numbers I am one up with Takayasu, but as he is injured, I fully expect that to change, so my lead is likely two less than above.
