From what I caught on the stream

Winner Dergerbayar (Nittaidai...had a good match with Shiroyama in the QFs where he overcame some rocky moments and finally managed a win over SS)

Runner-up Hashimoto (Waseda)

3rd Nakamura (Nittaidai, only in 1st year, reached the best 8 in Uwajima as well)

4th Nakamura (Chuo)

Best 8 Shiroyama (Toyo), Hatsuyama (Toyo), Kano (Chuo), Tanaka (Chuo)

Winner Nittaidai

Runner-up Toyo

3rd Chuo

4th Takushoku

Best 8 Tokyo Nogyo, Doshisha, Kindai, Nichidai (went 14-1 in prelims including 4-1 over Toyo, but then lost straight away to Takushoku in the sudden death portion)

The complete results as pdf files on this page http://www.usasumo.net/page0008.html

Team best 8 (of 12)  till the final as list: http://img.p-kit.com/usasumo/1556871319089885300.pdf

Individuals best 8 finals as graph  http://img.p-kit.com/usasumo/1556871356039080100.pdf

- the 3rd place playoff Nakamura-Nakamura confused me a bit

Chuodai with 3 in the best 8, Toyodai and Nittaidai 2 each.

The Kyushudai Mongolian Munkhbat reached the best 16. Dalai-kun lost in the 1st round - he wasn't in the team before the final. Mongolian Jamin from Takushoku also made it to the best 16 - from Nittaidai Kashiwa high, but didn't join Nittaidai. Doshisha also had 2 Mongolians at the start.

One of Chuo's newcomers has a 3-part top of his lungs shouting routine that seems rather over the top (Laughing...)

Another big success for Nakamura--individual yusho at the Wakayama College-Business national tournament, and team yusho as a starter in Nittaidai's 3-man lineup. Nakamura, Dergerbayar, and Ishizaki won all their team matches for a total of 18-0. They beat Aisin Seiki (now with last year's student championships runner-up Nakajima)  in the final. Losing quarterfinalists were Tokyo Nogyo and Nichidai.

Toyo's dominance seems to be at an end, as they were eliminated in the quarterfinals and have yet to capture a yusho this year. Their captain Shiroyama was not in the lineup for the elimination rounds despite having been their strongest team performer coming into the tournament.
