After the end of day 4, the not so secret SS got shown the venue to prepare for the Trump visit: in cooperation with the Japanese police, to determine the seat for Trump &co., eliminate the problems in connection with handing over the Trump Cup on the dohyo, check the escape route in case of trouble. The options are now either Royal box or masu seat box with chairs.

The NSK has reserved all shomen masu seat boxes - that means, close to 25% of the seats in the first floor were not on sale. They will determine till around day 10 which seats will be used - what they will do with the remaining ones is not decided yet. The chaya had no tickets for their regular customers who were sitting in the area. From day 8 on, night security in and around the hall will be intensified. Likely those well known regular customers will be the only ones to be allowed in the remaining  seats - but they can't keep the sell-out record going, unless the 2 governments will be buying all the remaining tickets. The HiruObi wide-show today had a long special on Trump occupying a quarter of the kokugikan - 0:58h till the end, with Daiki showing 2 ordinary chairs in the masu seat box for 4 - at 1:27h the image of the day:  Abe with wife on 2 chairs in the next box, 20 unsecret SS members building a surrounding fence, half of them facing away from the dohyo.

This is the same as the Japanese Prime Minister (or his representative) giving the Prime Minister's Cup, and all the dignitaries and diplomats that follow. Same too for the old guys from the supporters' associations awarding certificates and prize money to the winner of each division after the juryo yusho is decided.

Not that I think that is ever going to happen but the Japanese government will pay. Outside of US security personnel and transportation, the presidential limo will be brought to Japan, Japan will pay for all as Trump is their guest. Security personnel are not just guards, etc. It includes people like a specially trained chef to inspect and watch all food acquisition and preparation for the President.

The "owners" of the ringside seats (for paying 3.9 million Yen or more for 6 years as NSK maintaining members) , the tamarikai members had a meeting on day 8 and decided to not let anybody else sit in their seats on senshuraku (normally a quite usual thing) - they had received the demand from the NSK to give name and address of those who will be there that day, including those on other sides (all near the dohyo are target of the security police). The problem of zabuton throwing is also nearly solved, if they not allow anybody sit behind Trump and keep all shomen seats unsold - those thrown from the adjacent corners (more or less aiming at Trump rather than the dohyo) will be intercepted by the SP. To avoid any international scandal, Kakuryu has the duty to win his bout.

- they bump into you without apology when they lead their customers along behind you. They have a problem on day 15: the cha (tea) they are serving for free as service to those customers is forbidden then - the empty tea cups are placed in masu seats of the guests and the dekata bring the tea pot - but not when Trump fears a broken cup or pot might be used as weapon to cut him - same with beer bottles and the like: only PET bottles are allowed. And the chaya have a loss of about 10 million yen for not having the customers in the about 1000 unsold seats

Not only the shomen masu seats, also seats around the dohyo that are usually sold with a separate seat lottery were left unsold (those in the back, directly in front of the masu seats) 

The local police searches all corners for suspicious trash - they'll have a special squad carrying sub-machine guns waiting at every location Trump visits. o

This has to be the most silly report yet.  They'll be breaking into shows all weekend with live reports of Trump's visit but the one event which already has live coverage won't be shown. Suuuuuuure.
