I think that's a valid point. I was wondering how much could/should be put into separate topics, or to leave it as-is in the free-for-all format.

It would be interesting as a separate topic if it is used to collect noteworthy stuff over multiple bashos concerning the performance of individual gyoji / shimpan... but then, we already have a topic about the gyoji, don't we?

Yes, we do. Is that the place, is the basho discussion topic the place, or do we need more/less places? Or perhaps something altogether completely different? Fire away!

The gyoji thread is not the right one for discussions about a single gyoji decision during the basho - the basho thread is well suited, but I would prefer an extra thread in Honbasho talk: Gyoji/Shimpan Ratings - just about bad (or excellent) judging
