That's a joke, right?  You're 3.5 hours away by car.

Not a joke at all. You're assuming quite a lot here. And wrongly.

No it wasn't a joke,I don't have a car...........

I dont know anyone who has one either.......(Many of my customers have them but I cant really ask them)

My friends who did have cars found they couldn't afford to keep them......

As for immediate family theres just one brother and one sister now and neither of them drive either(My sister is disabled and my brother is like me too near the poverty line to pay for lessons let alone buy a car.........

I'm sure I could get someone to drive me if it was absolutely necessary but not for sightseeing...

Public transport is quite costly here.....

Sorry to hurt anyone's feelings.  I just meant to point out that it's at least a do-able trip.  I, on the other hand, live 3900 miles away.

3.5 hour travel time means different things in different places. Having lived in both the Midwest of the USA and the UK I can say that a 3.5 hour drive in the Midwest is considerably less difficult and stressful than in the UK and that is entirely down to density of population.

Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb. Mi wnes I ddysgu’r Gymraeg pan mi wnes i ddychwelyd i Gymru ar ol

I fi ymddeol. Dw i’n darllen llawer o farddoniaeth ac dw i’n mwynhau cystadlu yn yr Eisteddfoddau
