Unreliable shoemaker Hanada 花田優一 on Sept. 27th released his first song, apparently including the MV all self-made. He really can sing, and the writer of the article is annoyed not to find a fault, but also nothing special: http://joshi-spa.jp/1035817

Hanada has an official YT channel, but contents are all private videos now. He still has the Hanada popularity bonus, but not much success with it.

With the severe sumo drought this weekend I checked the wide shows on the tabloid battle of Takanohana against his son, shoemaker Yuichi. Yuichi had complained in Shukan Josei (Weekly woman) o about moral harassment and violence by his father, Taka had fought back in Shukan Bunshun o - knowing Taka they likely never will speak again with each other directly, the wide shows love it.

An overview of the story so far:

After the divorce and Keiko dissolving the household, Yuichi had sold without permission the Harley Davidson of Taka, to pay for the costs, Taka had asked the police about having his bike stolen. This part led in the end to Taka severing the last connections with his son, declaring him publicly (in the CM interview above) disinherited.

Yuiichi spoke to Shukan Josei, claiming his father came to his house and attacked him for 90 minutes outside (he wouldn't last a minute if Taka really did that). Taka replied to that, his son came kicking at him as he came to his house and he by force dragged him inside, because there are neighbors who could be watching. Yuichi also claimed that Taka drank 3 to 4 bottles of wine every day, Taka denies that amount.

One of the TV channels in Japan has a topic segment and Taka and his son were discussed for several minutes. It lasted so long that my wife, who is not a sumo fan, got bored and went into the kitchen to get some food.

I noticed that too in that picture you posted in August last year. The only time I saw him in person he was very skinny, worryingly so, I would say.  Also, when Kakuryu got his tsuna Taka still looked thin.  

Anyway, I hope he doesn't rely on the income from that diet-book he wrote some years ago.

Just found that...so it is established that Taka is not a genuine biker. If I´d sell the bike of my old man (and he´s in his late 60s), I wouldn´t be around long enough to write about it.

Shoemaker Hanada, the son, will have his first film role: his mother is now engaged to actor and film director Jackie Woo wiki/ジャッキー・ウー, who lets him appear in his new film 残照のかなたに (Beyond the afterglow), where he plays the physician of the main character, an author.

Today he was at the press conference for the make-each-other-laugh-variety of Downtown's Matsumoto: " 'HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental' Season 11 UNLIMITED", starting on the 17th on Amazon Prime video, 4 episodes. Each time 10 million yen for the yusho, it goes to the one who doesn't laugh till then end or gets the most points for making the others laugh. Matsumoto started this in 2016, Taka revealed he hadn't heard of it till being asked to take part, and "I was raised getting told 'Don't laugh!'"
