I think I put this together in an extra thread now
and joined by athletes from the Odawara sumo association, who train there
The Asahigaoka high club has started from zero in 2011. At first they had drawn a circle in the courtyard and trained there, the next year they got a dohyo to train. As the 2 Mongolian exchange students joined in 2016, the club for the 1st time took part in the interhigh team event. The club now has 7 members.
And this year, the one who started the sumo group in 2011, not yet a club then, who was the first team captain, returned to the school as teacher. http://www.townnews.co.jp/0607/2018/08/11/444295.html
