Kurasawa has certainly experienced his fair share of highs and lows, but whenever there seemed to be no future, Yokozuna Taiho's words would ring in his ears - "So stubborn, this one is", and he would gain the strength to fight on. A follow up, Rinnosuke in his first year was team member of the Kashiwa team at the national middle school championships, as taisho, the last of the three. They made it to the sf, there his two teammates both lost. I don't think Saitama Sakae has won a national team title since the Kokutai in 2018 (as Saitama prefecture, but essentially the SS team) and mostly they haven't even been in the semifinals.
