Yes, well done - and with the corresponding price: 11 111 Yen: before tax - I thought it a bargain at the exhibition, but what you pay is the same as at the kokugikan shop: 12 000 Yen with tax http://shop.kokugikan.jp/?mode=cate&cbid=809144&csid=0

I've compiled a list of sites with pics of the March exhibition - it was mostly the same, no VR sumo experience this time and 400 Yen cheaper.

On March 3rd, the Oh!SUMO EXHIBITION starts at a Kintetsu department store in Osaka - till the 18th, advance tickets are 800 yen for adults and 300 yen for kids - on the day 200 yen more for each.

with VR sumo experience on a nearly real size dohyo: a pseudo bout against a yokozuna - limit of 15 people per hour

I finished posting all pics to my twitter now and will make another overview of them later.

Difference in kesho-mawashi: then local Goeido (and Sadanoumi's Kumamon), now local Takanosho (and one more of Chiyotaikai apparently) - and a funny detail: the kesho mawashi of Ichinojo was the only item at the exhibition with a "photographing not allowed" sign - it was still allowed in Osaka.

Details from the OH! Sumo Exhibition in Kashiwa. Special cooperation for these events can be seen as from Yoshikaze; Sadaogatake-beya, esp. Hamakaze-oyakata (Gojoro) and Kototsurugi; Kokonoe-beya, esp. the oyakata, Chiyotaikai.

First the kesho mawashi on display - 2 for Kisenosato

from ジーク証券 - Sieg (=win in German) Securities (before 2009), with Mt. Fuji and a Zero fighter plane

for Kotoshogiku from his personal koenkai

for Yoshikaze from his local Saiki koenkai end of 2005, with the city's symbol, the tied Couple Rocks  夫婦岩としめ縄 of BungoFutamigaura 豊後二見ヶ浦 - he signed the glass case as he came to the exhibition

DchLeZsU8AEky3U.jpg:thumbo DchLhVwU8AU0vin.jpg:thumbo DchLi1lVAAAXo5q.jpg:thumbo

for Chiyomaru from Goyu Plant Industry Co.Ltd.

I guess the sponsor has severed the connection to Ichinojo - the baby star one had "photographing not allowed", so I use my old post instead to show it (the left one)

A bit of an off-topic question: I will be in Japan from 12 June to 27 June. I was really hoping to plan my trip such that I would be able to watch at least a few days of the Nagoya basho, but alas! It's not to be. Is there, by any chance, an event or something where I could watch sumo during my trip? The only sumo related activities that I have planned so far are just trips to the sumo museum and watching asa-geiko through the windows at Arashio Beya.

I will post the news of pre-Nagoya events in the "PR for Nagoya " thread  - nothing so far. No jungyo this time of the year, there will be training camps at several locations, before they all move to Nagoya and around when the banzuke gets published - but during your stay, asa-geiko should take place mainly at the Tokyo locations of all heya.
