Musashimaru has officially announced his Kyujo for Haru-basho, Oosaka.

I'm glad he made this decision. No take a chance of wrestling when the wrist still isn't completely healed. It should be interesting to see what the press has to say about this, especially after all the time Taka took off.

As long as he gets one win. I think Maru will remain Yokozuna East if Asashoryu goes kyujo with no wins, as Tochiazuma did last basho, though.

I think so too. If both Yokozuna show the same record, it's likely that their positions will remain as they were prior to the basho.
