Hi Everyone,

I am new to Sumo. I have had a very strange introduction to Sumo and now have become obsessed.

One night I couldn't sleep and instead of counting sheep like normal people, I think of things that don't go together (like chocolate and peanut butter - right?) and came up with Sumo + Cats. It became clear that these needed to come together in the form of an enamel pin. So, I've created these three pins - Yoko-neko-zuna Futaba-nya-ma, Tai-kawai-ho and Chiyo-nya-fuji and promoting a presale of them: https://igg.me/at/sumocats

I didn't want to just to create something that didn't make sense - and I had found an amazing blog  by Ryan Laughton of SumoCards. Ryan was kind enough to help me develop the pins and the die-cut backer cards which mimic Sumo Menko from the 1940's. If you go to the link you will see the cards. In the spirit of 1940's I actually painted the designs vs designing them on the computer. (And the pre-sale pins will be serialized with gold ink for any collectors our there).

Looking for any tips you might have in getting these out into the world - where they belong. lol.

Thank you so much for reading.

Lynn

PS I have some funny gifts but don't know how to upload them here. They are performing aspects of the Diezura - as you can see, I can't stop watching every single detail.
