I think that Profomisakari, Orion and I, as well as several other senior citizens, would strongly object to that initiative. The internet forum is a place where people can meet and share their interests regardless of the way they are pigeonholed in meat life. Here, it's the posts that count -- not one's age, gender, religion, nationality, skin colour, sexual preference, political views, or any other discrimination. I have never seen any content here that should not be viewed by children. If someone is a repeat offender placing inappropriate posts, he/she will get moderated. Age is not a factor, behaviour is. If nothing else, 18 is absurdly high for a discussion forum about a sport where many of the athletes and officials begin when they're 15 or 16. I imagine that the vast majority of people who join the forum are at least 18 anyway, and in the two years I've been here I've yet to notice any significant problems caused by the immaturity of posters under that age.
