14. Takayasu

Also, they really don't think much of Ishiura if they're only giving him Arawashi. Watch as it comes to bite them as he wins the Yusho with a grand total of two Sanyaku bouts.

Day 14 Takayasu

I guess... really just a guess at this point.

I thought about it some more, and I'll change my pick:

Day 14 - Ishiura

The only thing not supporting this idea is that it makes the most sense. B-)

There must be sole player on top. So I'll pick differently to Harry and Gernobono.

Ishiura.

When Ichinojo got the massive top-heavy schedule for a low-to-mid-maegashira, not only was he ranked a decent bit higher than Ishiura is now, he also had only double digit Juryo tournaments preceded by 6-1s in Makushita.  As I mentioned elsewhere, Ishiura doesn't have *any* double digit Juryo tournaments; he also took 10 tournaments to work his way up to Makuuchi.  There's plenty of reason to believe that he will pick up one or two losses in the last couple days against more rank-relevant opponents, as opposed to Ichinojo whose skill-level was pretty much unknown and so they threw the kitchen sink at him.

I'm not going to speculate on who he might face, because that Day 13 torikumi is seriously way out there and I have no idea what they're doing.

I have no desire to think much more about this.
