The news about Okinoumi doesn't sound very good.  I think there's a good chance he's kyujo, but I have no idea if his decision would be announced ahead of the torikumi coming out.  I'm almost inclined to just boldly decide that he will be kyujo and not on the torikumi even if he doesn't announce it, because it doesn't sound like he's in shape to compete, but I'm not quite that brave.  If Okinoumi announces he is withdrawing before the deadline for this game:

Interestingly, while looking to see if Okinoumi had announced his withdrawal, I found a sponichi article that says he was facing Hakuho Day 1 (well, it really says Hakuho is just short of 1000 wins and faces Okinoumi Day 1).  Not that this is any surprise, but the article came out before the deadline for this game.  Are they just speculating, or do they release the torikumi to the press early?  It also says Goeido faces Tochiozan, which is again not a surprise.

 

I then went to check to see if the torikumi was already up on the NSK site, and it was - a couple minutes before usual.  No idea if it was up even an hour earlier since that's when the above article came out.
