Sakura 1,295 Posted October 14, 2016 Hello. I've decided to stop lurking (after 3 months) and sign up. I'm British but live in Washington state. I came across sumo back in July. We had bad TV reception here so mostly we don't bother watching. The only channel that comes through clearly is NHK World. We were flicking through the channels one day and discovered a Japanese documentary. After that had finished the sumo came on and we were fascinated. It was Day 4 of the July basho. I was surprised to see how entertaining sumo could be and I'm intrigued by the cultural aspects of it too. Anyway, I became hooked and here I am. 8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
