The entry website is down (along with a lot of other sumo related things, including the sumo database.

 

You really need to get your day 7 entries to Jakusotsu in some way - as he has the keys to the automation (not me).  Unless he says otherwise, I suggest one of the following methods....

A PM to him at Sumo Forum.

 

Adding your line-up to the Games Bugs thread at the Sumo Forum - as several players have already put their line-ups there, and Klaus (Jakusotsu) will probably be looking there soon.

 

Needless to say, no results for day 7 are official until Jakusotsu say they are.

I have received the following message from Marushiki-zeki, the chair of the Bench Sumo Yokozuna Deliberation Council....

 

 

Venerable Rijicho

 

We the standing members of the BSYDC, have gathered to scrutinize (with an extremely fine tooth comb)  Frinkanohana's performance.  As a member of the BSYDC, He was absent from discussions on his own performance.   (We sent him off with a few bottles of Sake to distract him - so we could get down to the deep depths of his performances and soul) 

 

We find that he has performed well over the past year or so of his Ozekidom, and have found him worthy of promotion to Yokozuna.   Should our esteemed brother Frinkanohana wish to accept this promotion we wholeheartedly would like to offer the Yokozuna Tsuna to him.

Of course, the offer (as per Bench Sumo rules) is one that cannot be refused!  We look forward to reading Frinkanohana's official acceptance speech.

Here is the new Bench Banzuke for November 2025 - and the first with Frinkanohana as our new Yokozuna! Hoorah! It was put together by Flohru, Sakura and Jejima.

 

Mostly good luck this time around. A peak behind the scenes.... we think that this is probably the easiest banzuke that the banzuke makers have agreed upon (i.e. no real areas of contention / differing opinion) in the WHOLE (25+ years) history of Bench Sumo.
