Pitinosato should count himself the luckiest man I've seen in a while. Must have been a tough basho.

Why he specifically? Other juryo 7-8's moved up a lot more.

I don't think there's a single one on this specific banzuke. I'm not really well-versed in this sort of thing if you're talking about other sumo games, just veered into here from the View New Content tab.

I think he meant lucky Juryo MK guys like Ruziklao and Jakusotsu.

Or those Juryo guys that ended up above Makuuchi guys with the same record because a Juryo 7-8 was a KK and a Makuuchi 7-8 wasn't.

In the end, only three players managed 8 wins, and all of them lost on Senshuraku, so Asashosakari can enjoy a 8-7 yusho on tie-breakers - omedeto!

What's more, since only three players were eligible for sansho, I decided to withhold those two with a clear sub-par performance (and which would have gone to Asashosakari anyway B-) ).

Yusho:

M1w Asashosakari (8-7) (Yusho winner...)

Kanto-sho:

(not awarded)

Gino-sho:

(not awarded)

Shukun-sho:

M1w Asashosakari (4.275)

Thank you for playing, see ya in September!

There's a minor glitch on the Day 2 results page. Endo is correctly shown as having lost but four players who picked him to win are all given a full Shukun-sho point, which stays on their records to the end.

The cause for this glitch is that Rikishimiezi managed to pick Endo for losing which shouldn't be possible given his 0-1 record. I have no idea how that happened.

Fortunately, those four surplus shukun-points didn't matter in the end.

Thanks for noticing!
