Sokkenaiyama 81 Posted March 14, 2016 OK, this seems interesting enough, but... how exactly do you decide who the underdog is? For example, in Ichinojo vs. Toyohibiki I would HARDLY call Toyohibiki the favorite. Still, taking the table of underdoggines as axiomatic, let me give it a shot: Day 3 - Osunaarashi (Ichinojo)

Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) OK, this seems interesting enough, but... how exactly do you decide who the underdog is? For example, in Ichinojo vs. Toyohibiki I would HARDLY call Toyohibiki the favorite. Still, taking the table of underdoggines as axiomatic, let me give it a shot: Day 3 - Osunaarashi (Ichinojo) OK, Sokkenaiyama-san, First, thanks for joining TUG. Second, I understand your point. The Underdog status is determined by the most recent Banzuke ranking. In your example, nevertheless Ichinojo had been a Sanyaku before, for Haru 16 basho his Banzuke rank of M11e makes him a Underdog to Toyohibiki, whose rank for Haru 16 is M9e. For the rikishi at the same Maegashira rank the West rikishi is considered Underdog to the East rikishi. For Sanyaku rikishi this rule doesn't exist: Both Komusubi are equal to each other; Both Sekiwake are equal to each other; The four Ozeki are equal to each other; The three Yokozuna are equal to each other. Good Luck and hope you'll enjoy the game! Edited March 14, 2016 by Achiyama

chishafuwaku 476 Posted March 15, 2016 No names but I was looking at another game earlier and the rules went over my head,so its not for me.... Maybe you were referring to the game Bout Time. You just have to enter a bet time (in seconds) relative to a pre defined combat. If you stay in the group closest to the real time you WON, Otherwise you LOSE Don´t worry to the fact that the rules may be obscure. Just play and you will see quickly how you win or you lose. Sorry Achiyama for this off topic. chishafuwaku
