Maegashira game Hatsu 2016

Recommended Posts

The basho is over and until this time is nothing writen about Maegashira game.

But everything was normal. Not once did the automatic strike.

Mostly we had barely results.

The highest daily results were reached on day 1 with 52 points from Norizo ( He got for this the Sukun Sho ), Ruziklao (Leader after day 2) and Susanoo.

From day 3 to 8 Was the leader Torafuji.

Him relieved on day 9 Kyodaitimu with only one point lead.

Tim, who was started on day 1 with a zero result, holded this lead until day 14, only interruted on day 12, as Susanoo for one day holded the top place.

All days followed with small differences other players: Torafuji, Susanoo, later Profomisakari and the Yokozuna Jejima.

Then before Senshuraku was an error for several Sumogames games, as all bouts were shown twice. Most players gave up their picks in only one of these doubled lines.

But The leader Kyodaitimu and the multiple former winner and Yokozuna Norizo selected in one bout both Maegashira rikishi, wo had to fight each other. This is not allowed by the rules (look there!).

Normal, without the fault with the duplicate rows, would have prevented this entries the automatic.

So must Doitsuyama delete these two forbidden votes. He mailed it to the both, but they did no more react in time and hve now no points for the last day. It's a pity.

With this error the automatic too failt to post the final result, because I caculated it per Excel and post it here

But now look at the following results table!

The missing day 15 results had nothing to do with the double entries, just another automation hiccup. I gave it a poke and the results are there now. Besides, Kyodaitimu and Norizo didn't pick both rikishi in one bout, they picked the same rikishi two times - just the last three bouts as usual. ;-) Blind picking can indeed leed to the yusho in this game as I have proven myself in the past. :-)
