Turn The Tide - Banzuke Haru 2016

Recommended Posts

As mentioned elsewhere, scores went down the drain last basho. Accordingly, I had to regard 6-9 in Makuuchi and 5-10 in Juryo and below as KK for banzuke making purposes, which was more than enough to say "welcome back, Ozeki Pandaazuma!" :-)

Unfortunately, Asashosakari missed his third consecutive adjusted 10-5 by a hair...

Kitakachiyama entered Senshuraku leading alone but failed to garner another win. However, his tie-breaker points were good enough for the yusho anyway - great performance by the Yokozuna!

Yusho:

Y1e Kitakachiyama (10-5) (Yusho winner...)

Kanto-sho:

M16w Unkonoyama (20)

Gino-sho:

M4w Yassier (11-11)

M12e Bill (11-11)

J7w Aome (11-11)

Shukun-sho:

M15w Gawasukotto (6.234)

Congrats to all winners!

Thank you for playing, see ya in May.
