Baruto was interviewed (by phone) by Hochi. "In Japan I learned a lot in 15 years. I thought I'd like to change various parts in Estonia. To change them, I thought I'd become a member of parliament." "Now I'm responsible for the problems of agriculture in rural regions and for checking the work of the police."

"Near my house I have a sumo club, where I teach 3 times a month. My knees are better now than when I was active."

The 5 languages he speaks are Estonian, English, Russian, German and Japanese. For the 3 in the middle he had classes every day in primary school, plus intensive courses during long vacations. He names as the main reason for returning to Estonia the wish to have his now 5 year old son grow up in a rich nature.

Baruto tried to get (re-)elected, but again lost at the elections yesterday o - this time he'll likely won't get as lucky as last time to become MP after all
