Sumo anime and manga

Now after art and song, we might as well put some sumo anime from YouTube on the forum: there was a repost today of the Harimanada series. I only read the first manga episodes when it was first published in the weekly Morning, I regularly only did read Shuukan Shonen Jump.

With English subtitles. A sekiwake Hakuho 白鳳 is appearing in the 3rd episode, with a slightly different -ho 鵬 of the same meaning. I don't think that the name selection for Hakuho was in any way influenced by the manga.

There are also a couple other sumo related anime available on CrunchyRoll right now. Can't recall the names. One is more serious and the other a freaky comedy it looks like.

Freaky comedy: Abarenbou Rikishi Matsutaro (Rowdy Sumo Wrestler Matsutaro), based on a part of Notari Matsutarou manga.

Second one? No idea.

But we have nice manga about the high school sumo: Hinomaru Zumou. One of four titles of all mangas I am waiting for next chapters and they are trying to get some attention to the title (propably to make a 13-ep or 26-ep anime)

Naked Wolves? Well, I'll see.

About Matsutaro: I am upset the anime covers only his time in Raiden-beya. I am too veak in Japanese to know, what happened next :/

5 episodes of Abarenbo Rikishi Matsutaro appeared new on this channel, no subtitles though.

Anime fans thought about that. You may find english version on Crunchyroll (official I guess) or fansites (for example KissAnime)

I saw Abarenbo in spanish subs and i think was really amazing. The fight are so exaggerated but the live of Matsutaro in the heya was really funny.

If you search an anime with realism, probably isn't the perfect anime. But is better this anime that nothing i thing. Is very amazing for me.

"The problem" with Matsutaro is, if you want to know what happened next after ending of anime, you need to know Japanese. :P

Does anybody know how to view a manga  from a .ddd file?

You can download the manga(viewer) on ebookjapan with downloadhelper, but I found no way yet to view them afterwards. E.g. Hokuto-no-ken vol 1: https://cache2-br-ebookjapan.akamaized.net/contents/ddd/HK/HKEN0160G.ddd?did=20170714232201

Nothing with trial versions of 3D graphics viewers or Adobe Fusion.

But you have to log in/register (for free) to read volumes 2 to 36. While skipping through, recording it as single screens with ActivePresenter (and then e.g. export it as individual png pics) makes it available permanently. And in addition, the first 3 volumes of Ah, Harimanada are available as well - also for free download (apparently only for the mobile app). The first volumes of other sumo manga are free to read as well, likely for longer. "Daruma" looks to be Asashio, "Gottsan desu" Takanohana I - and 2 are sumo-ero-manga. The 2nd volume of Ryogoku oshare-rikishi recently mentioned in the sumo (comic) news looks to be like either also from this category or especially for sujo.

I would have thought his hair was now long enough for a mage.
