Jejima 1,406 Posted January 10, 2016 Not much to say here, except that collectively we're expecting 4 or 5 bashos to be won by Yokozunas (mostly by Hakuho), with 1 or 2 bashos to be won by Ozekis (Terunofuji - and possibly Kisenosato). Jejima 1,406 Posted November 28, 2016 The yushos for 2016 were won as follows: Jan: O2E Kotoshogiku 14-1 Mar: Y1W Hakuho 14-1 May: Y1E Hakuho 15-0 Jul: Y2E Harumafuji 13-2 Sep: O2E Goeido 15-0 Nov: Y1W Kakuryu 14-1 So that is 4 Yokozuna yushos (Hakuho-2, Harumafuji and Kakuryu) and 2 Ozeki yushos (Kotoshogiku and Goeido). TEN players correctly predicted the correct answers to all three questions (Washuyama, Krindel, Tenshinhan, chishafuwaku, Jejima, inhashi, Tsubame, Oshirokita, Yubinhaad and kuroimori), so let's look at the comments to see who came closest to predicting the actual yusho winners.... Nobody predicted yushos for either Kotoshogiku or Goeido, so the best predictions are the several players who guessed correctly four of the yusho winners. However, NONE of the players who correctly guessed all three of the questions got more than three of the actual yusho winners correct.
