Jejima 1,498 Posted November 26, 2015 Hi everyone, Here is the new Bench banzuke for the start of 2016. It was put together by Jejima, Flohru and Kaiomitsuki, under Kintamayama, Ekigozan and Asashosakri's watchful eyes. Apart from some bad luck for players with MKs from upper Makunouchi, this time the banzuke was pretty straight forward.... Enjoy! Fujisan 537 Posted November 30, 2015 Thanks Jezz..... I would like to see the return of my old rivalry with 'My old pain in the neck' Iwakoko now we are a little closer, even if we are in different divisions........ I am sure Iwakoko will be happy to be "handed a free win" from the top division.

Golynohana 332 Posted January 8, 2016 BENCH SUMO I want to participate but entry was away late. How do I to. Somehow Will you please to participate. In bench sumo the deadline is early, on Thursday I think. This is because the torikumi is prepared manually by volunteers and they need more time to do this. Golynohana 332 Posted January 8, 2016 You can follow deadlines of various games in this thread:http://www.sumoforum.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=34850&hl=
Gurowake 4,164 Posted January 8, 2016 While the work required to change what we've already done regarding the torikumi wouldn't be particularly overwhelming, I would prefer we abide by the deadlines. The list of active players goes out to the torikumi makers fairly quckly after the deadline, and I already published the Juryo torikumi by the time I saw this. There's no real issue theoretically with fixing things to accommodate a late entry, but there's possible confusion and extra work on our part. I missed a chance at playing the first basho I tried because of errors in the software, and I wasn't put in late even though I'd have been at the bottom on the banzuke and could either replace the drone or be set against the drone (depending on whether it needed to be active without my entry), presumably just because it was more work and might lead to confusion. TheMightyTim 1 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Well, it seems like I'm not the only one to miss the sign in deadline. My own fault - got all my days mixed up this week. Anyway, so much for my glorious Juryo debut! Edited January 8, 2016 by TheMightyTim
Jejima 1,498 Posted January 17, 2016 Yes, there is an early deadline for Bench Sumo - and we don't allow any late entries for any reason. Sorry about that.
