WAKATAKE 2,637 Posted November 20, 2015 I'm starting to buy in on the conspiracy theories.. What an easy win for Goeido. Actually maybe more like Kisenosato had a change of heart. Kise was that same person that put Goeido into kadoban in the first place.

hamcornheinz 839 Posted November 20, 2015 NHK broadcasting all of their tachiai turns out to be prophetic- Harumafuji's old tachiai against Hakuho was giving Hakuho the advantage, so he switched it up and took an angle today- worked beautifully.

Kintamayama 44,391 Posted November 20, 2015 I dig Shohozan's beard. Guys with winning streaks tend not to shave. I remember Kokkai (who has a 5 o'clock shadow at noon as it is), growing a beard in 5 days.
wuli 67 Posted November 20, 2015 oh, what a surprising day! hakuho 'lost' to harumafuji; terunofuji 'beat' kakuryu; and, what do you know, even goeido managed not to fall down before kise could step out who'd of thunk? ;-)

Akinomaki 39,890 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Gagamaru talks as fast a possible, because he knows they won't give him as much time as he would like to have, he obviously loves to tell stories. In the kachi-koshi interview from day 11 you can compare his proficiency to the May kinboshi interview, starts at 1:50 in the digest: Edited November 20, 2015 by Akinomaki
kumoryu 88 Posted November 20, 2015 Saio of Nishikido Beya fractured his right eye socket in this bout when his face hit the knee of a rikishi ringside but still got up on the dohyo for the torinaoshi. Respect to his toughness there. He'll be kyujo. saio-nara ?
DarthJF 5 Posted November 20, 2015 Yay, Harumafujiiii!!! Time for that 7th yūshō! Two years is a long wait.
hamcornheinz 839 Posted November 20, 2015 no one noticed that the gyoji gave the win to Takekaze, not even anyone who was there live.
Arashifuji 10 Posted November 20, 2015 What a basho! Hakuho showing tricks and having fun out there. Ama back in the hunt after so long. Shohozan 2.0 V6 turbo. Ikioi really being "baby Hakuho". Terunofuji gallantly surviving. Kisenosato doing charity in the dohyo. Even Aminishiki channeled his inner Akebono and started blowing people away!
Kurikara 28 Posted November 20, 2015 no one noticed that the gyoji gave the win to Takekaze, not even anyone who was there live. I saw that but I was sure I just misunderstood something..
Kintamayama 44,391 Posted November 20, 2015 no one noticed that the gyoji gave the win to Takekaze, not even anyone who was there live. But immediately switched. Happens more often than people think.
taresu 38 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Really sorry for Oosu, his legion of bandages keep stacking up. He'll be a mummy in the next basho. Hope is nothing too serious. I Guess Terunofuji will be able to get his KK, something i thought impossible a few days ago. Shohozan is really the "mirror, mirror" version of his old self, really impressive. Keep cheering for Yoshikaze to get his KK tomorrow. Kise really gave the win to Goeido? I mean, really? It's so nice to see a yokozuna's bout, its a totally diffrent level of sumo. Is funny to see hakuho lost were he is usually the dominant one. He was utterly disappointed when he fell out of the Dohyo, the replay showed his face right after and he was really upset. Well, at least his first lost of the basho was to a Yokozuna. Oh my, why bashos always get insane in the final days, i can't wait for tomorrow! Jyuunomori 226 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Harumafuji did it! Next few days of the basho is gonna be interesting all heck, cannot wait! Osunaarashi = Makekoshi and most likely out because of injury. :'-( Now that Makuuchi is out of the way we get to the more interesting stuff: Makushita. URA Ura has his teeth in the Yusho! Ryuseio tried everything in his power to stop him. He was careful and calm and most likely studied Ura like a maniac He didn't overcommit to any reckless attack but it just didn't work. Ura outskilled him, out positioned him and then outpowered him winning by the way of Yorikiri. Meanwhile Chiyoshoma had his hands full of newly amped up Shiba and LOST! Chiyoshoma the mongolian will go to Juryo with a 6-1 record while Makushita Yusho will be decided between two japanese rikishi. Ura vs Shiba. Ura is going to win btw. As a sidenote: Kiribayama won the Sandanme Yusho via Ura beating Ryuseio. Edited November 20, 2015 by Jyuunomori
Dwale 419 Posted November 20, 2015 Wow! That was amazing sumo from Harumafuji. Aminishiki's win was decisive, and again, he amazes me with how effective he can be. Terunofuji is an ogre in there. Betta reco'nize. And Osunaarashi...aww, man. T.T Get well soon. Kisenosato. I don't even want to look at you right now. lol Can we keep this version of Shohozan from now on? evilwaldo 11 Posted November 20, 2015 NHK broadcasting all of their tachiai turns out to be prophetic- Harumafuji's old tachiai against Hakuho was giving Hakuho the advantage, so he switched it up and took an angle today- worked beautifully. Harumafuji did a beautiful move at the start where he leaned in and did not let Hakuho get a hold of the belt
Morty 1,480 Posted November 20, 2015 I'm starting to buy in on the conspiracy theories.. What an easy win for Goeido. Actually maybe more like Kisenosato had a change of heart.
