Achiyama 1,272 Posted November 17, 2015 there is no suggestion-thread, so i use this one for my idea... maybe it is possible someone can post the bouts with points earlier than busy achiyama can do he usually posts them at around 6:30pm cet.....at that point the bouts are known for 13 hours the least... to avoid crossposting maybe there is a volunteer to do that with the correct numbers according to the rules i never looked into them to really know how the numbers are calculated, but i guess this cannot be too difficult to manage...... i do not want to take away anything from the games' tate-gyoji, but i wold prefer knowing the points at stake, when i usually enter my pick Hi Gernobono, Thanks for letting me know your request. I'll try my best to go to my work to post the new Torikumi for Day 12 tonight PST, right after the official Torikumi is out. I live very close to work, so I'll try to accommodate your request. Jakusotsu 6,403 Posted November 17, 2015 Still, maybe somebody else living in a more convenient time zone volunteers to post the points distribution? Having more than two hands at work has its benefits (see Bench Sumo).
Gurowake 4,154 Posted November 17, 2015 Since I already have the spreadsheet made and I don't need to know anything about the current basho to post the point distribution, I can probably do it. I'm sometimes very close to doing it for myself as it is, and it shouldn't take more than a couple minutes. The torikumi are posted just a little bit before I should head to bed so I have no trouble doing it.

As I asked you for a favor for the last days I didn't want to burden you more. Isn't it going to be too late for you? I am 5 min. from work, and it's not a big deal to drive and do the posting. In case you do it, do you want me to send you the file I have used till now, with all the data, or you don't need it for the Torikumi? Gurowake 4,154 Posted November 17, 2015 Thinking about it more, it depends on what time the database picks up the matches, because I don't want to try to extract them from the Kyokai's website already having set up a way to extract them from the much simpler simple-style database presentation. If the database picks it up by 13:00 JST I'll be able to post them, otherwise I won't. Well, I'd be able to post them regardless, it would just take way more work. In this case I wouldn't be able to do the posting tonight as well as I am using the same database you are describing. As I know you are 3 hours ahead of me (EST). So if you're able to do it in the morning it will be still much earlier than if I post it at PST. Do you have any idea when the database we are using is usually available? Please, don't do anything if the database is not available by 13:00 JST, as I'll have few more hours to react. At the worst I'll do the Torikumi manually as I did before, based on the data from Kyokai. No biggy. I'll be checking for a posting before I do it myself. Gurowake 4,154 Posted November 18, 2015 Day 12 torikumi is not up in the database yet; I'm headed to bed.
