Akinomaki 39,805 Posted February 15 (edited) Ikazuchi-oyakata and okamisan with Shishi on the 9th were at the town hall of Ogano - together with sumo onsen ryokan owner Miyamoto, local ex-Tsurugidake, class mate from Nittaidai and heya-mate at Musahigawa-beya, same entry and same intai basho. The heya will have a training camp in Ogano for 10 days in early June at the Chichibu Furusato-mura of Miyamoto https://www.miyamotoke.jp/english/, the first sumo related event there and for it a dohyo with roof will be installed. For locals the entry to the facility will be free (usually 500yen). First return home, with mage now, slightly down in size and weight from that of his entry (165/94), now 163.5cm and 93.9kg.
