The mayor of Kashiwa is already used to this - Hoshoryu also reports there, the location of his high school, and today Kotoshoho went to report to the mayor of his hometown, this time not with Kotozakura, who also is connected via the youth sumo club, but with his younger brother Kotoeiho.

Kotoshoho the day before was in Ogaki, Gifu, where he has connections to the local shopping district at Ogaki station, since 2019, and he also went to the city hall

The importance of being a rikishi (and an ex-rikishi for the rest of the life after that) is visible also with the lower ranked: jonidan Gonowaka on the 15th reported his (ketteisen) yusho to the mayor of his hometown Fukaya, Saitama (the pref. for which Daieisho brought the first ever makuuchi yusho - and Abi the 2nd) - the DB has Saitama-city as his shusshin.

Isegahama-oyakata with his Shizuoka pref. sekitori (and tsukebito) was at the prefectural office in Shizuoka city today to report to the governor about the jungyo participation there on the 27th

and tell about the hopes for the Aki basho - basically what they told in the interview at the jungyo, but slightly more sincere

Atamifuji thinks he should aim for sanyaku with a good result, and Midorifuji wants to aim for the zensho yusho and the pref. locals to root for him

Today Kotoshoho was at the Chiba prefectural office to report his last basho yusho to the governor and promise more good performances. He started sumo age 3 and polished his skills at the Kashiwa sumo juniors club. The governor wants him to aim for ozeki and higher.

Next got 10kg of local Hosui nashi pears from JA Nasuno

Afterwards he went to get his Kurobane high kesho mawashi - all students of the school were in the Nasunogahara Harmony hall for the award ceremony
