I am trying to figure the situation since morning and contacted my server provider.

Looks like combined server maintenance and misunderstanding.

Don't worry, both Site and the Database are safe and I am trying to get another server as soon as possible. In worst case, April Basho may be cancelled, but I will publish the more specified information (if it will happen) tomorrow.

Never noticed this before. It looks interesting, to say the least. I'll definitely give it a shot, but I'm only hoping the mathematical engine is well balanced. I'm guessing it might still be rough. Great idea, though.

As a first suggestion, how about some tooltips on the rikishi management screen? I like my games verbose.

Also, bad news. Server is going to the service (provider said there are problems and didn't gave any additional info atm) and I am working for the replacement one.

Best option: April basho will be delayed for a week.

Worst option: April basho will be cancelled and next basho we will have in May.

A tooltip is a little window that appears when you hover your mouse pointer above something (like a link or a graphical element) and contains further explanation on what you're about to click. For example, when you hover your mouse over the RIKISHI game in your signature, a tooltip will appear that says "External link".

That kind of tooltip? Not a problem. Just give me a couple of days (Pyrkon convention and trying to get a new server) :)

The situation became a little more problematic than I expected. I backed up the whole database (date: 5 May 2016). Then, server provider informed me about reinstalling the whole machine. To make things worse, I didn't got a contact with him since he informed me about the situation.

I am trying to contact him, but also looking for another server.

Good news - Server stands firmly and shouldn't go down anymore without any information. This time server provider is nice and is even willing to help "moving" the game from Wordpress. But that will be clearly a side project, because everyone wants this game to continue. Looks like I finally found a good host :)

Now the Question: What to do with may basho? I have four options:

- make a quick 7-day long basho 23-29 May

- make a quick 7-day long basho 30 May - 5 June

- make a 15-day basho 23 May - 5 June

- cancel Natsu basho

The May server crashed in June. June one crashed in July. Provider of that one told me everything will be okay in August... then server crashed in August.

In September I started paying for servers. And it looks like the machine is finally stable. So in November we begun a second-best division, with huuuuge help of @Ganzohnesushi in matchmaking.

Due to Senkoho using similar way of invitation, I hereby invite everyone, who decided to participate by creating an own heya. You may consider it a spam, but still, feel free to see, what has been changed. :)

I cannot log in and also I cannot retrieve my password.

Do I have to register again and create a new heya? I don't think so, as I can still see my rikishi on the banzuke.
