Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) Jejima, This basho is a requirement to sent the entries by E-MAIL or PM on Sumoforum. I have written this numerous times, so, please, follow this rule. Please, delete your posting above and send me your entry via one of the ways described above. I am sorry for any inconveniences. Regards: Achiyama Edited March 7, 2015 by Achiyama
Gernobono 467 Posted March 7, 2015 sorry....did not read that part of emailing or pm-ing don't like it pls, count me out
Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted March 7, 2015 I agree with Gernobono. Don't like it and don't see why we can't all just put our picks on the forum as before.
Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 7, 2015 Here are the entries I have received till now: Achiyama Kuroimori Gawasukotto (aka Ronnie) Eightenberg (aka Teo_heel) Tenshinhan Pandaazuma Wamahada Gurowake Profomisakari Mmikasazuma Jejima Gaijingai Flohru Itachi Jakusotsu Randomitsuki Reijinguoshan (a new participant) Welcome to TUG! chishafuwaku 476 Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) I will respect your decision but until this game is automated I'd rather make my entries here because it is much more comfortable. By email, only on the last day because of the Yusho decision. chishafuwaku Edited March 7, 2015 by chishafuwaku
Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 7, 2015 I don't see what is the big deal sending the entry via a PM (you have just to click one more button) or e-mail. What about the people who prefer to send their entries privately? What about the sumo gamers, who are not Sumoforum members? Are you going to be EXTREME and drop out of the game, like Gernobono, because you don't like the rule. Help me understand your POV.
chishafuwaku 476 Posted March 7, 2015 In my case I always participate regardless of the way to make the participation. As you wrote 1.) Deadline 3:00 p.m. Japanese Standard Time on Shonichi 2.) E-mail me your pick to angelstoyanov55(at)yahoo(dot)com 3.) You can change your pick until the deadline I thought you just wanted entries via email. But I don't see what is the big deal sending the entry via a PM (you have just to click one more button) or e-mail. So, I will participate via PM. Perhaps Gernobono thought the same and not liking to use the email ... What about the people who prefer to send their entries privately? What about the sumo gamers, who are not Sumoforum members? You make your point. chishafuwaku
Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted March 8, 2015 OK...no worries. I appreciate the time you're putting into the game, Achiyama. In my case, it's just personal preference for non-automated games to have picks on the forum, but if it takes longer for you, I will go along with the email entry. kuroimori 1,634 Posted March 8, 2015 I also prefer to post picks directly un the thread as it is the fastest & easiest way. Submitting picks via PM is a bit more than just one click away and there is always the danger of a full inbox. But I follow your administrative preference and will only post my picks here in case your PM inbox is full.
Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 9, 2015 TUG Day 2 news: 1.) Shokikogi and Senkoho joined TUG on Day 2 - Welcome back guys (Welcome...) 2.) Until now for Day 2 I am missing only the entries from Itachi and Wamahada.
Achiyama 1,272 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) TUG Day 3 news: Taking into consideration that several people demonstrated strong preference of posting their entries on the Sumoforum and as I don't want to look obstinate and confrontational, I made a decision: 1.) As of Day 3 posting on the Sumoforum is O.K. It is optional, but NOT mandatory. 2.) Those of you who prefer to submit your entries privately, please, continue doing so via PM at the Sumoforum or E-MAIL. 3.) On Senshuraku (Day 15) ALL entries MUST be submitted via PM or E-MAIL. Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted March 9, 2015 Nice one. Don't think it makes much difference to the game tactically except on senshuraku! I certainly never look at what others have picked and I'm sure most players are the same. Thanks.
