Regarding the 4th day, missing entries of Andonishiki and Mmikasazuna, so far.

It she does not make her bet, and because the number 11 has been used three times, will be considered for this day the number 12.

Can you explain this also for dummies like me? -->(standard deviation of yours Inputs) (Help me...)

I find it a bit strange/dodgy that co-leader Mmikasazuma has 0 points in this tie-breaker. (Scratching chin...)

Basically, the standard deviation gives us a measure to see if the input values are more concentrated or more dispersed.

A low standard deviation indicates that the data tend to be very close to the mean.

A high standard deviation indicates that the data are spread out over a large range of values.

How it works:

  1. calculate the mean
  2. calculate the difference of each input from the mean
  3. calculate the square of previous results
  4. sum the previous results
  5. divide by number of cases - 1
  6. take the square root

Example (your case) 13 13 8

some values are approximate

Mean = 11,33333

13-11,33333=1,66667 13-11,33333=1,66667 8-11,33333=-3,33333

1,66667*1,66667=2,77778 1,66667*1,66667=2,77778 (-3,33333)*(-3,33333)=11,111

2,77778 + 2,77778 + 11,111 = 16,66667

16,66667/2=8,33333

square root of 8,33333=2,887

Mmikasazuma has 0 as a result because has 11 11 11 as inputs

So, have no deviation from the average 11

I hope it was clarified your question

The purpose of this measure is to encourage a greater variability of the inputs.
