Yubinhaad 10,934 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) Can't think of a specific place for these so I guess they'll do here - some random shots of Ichinojo and some of his fellow classmates from the sumo school. Shin-Juryo Ichinojo having his picture taken for the Natsu basho's rikishi booklet. With a LINE mascot and the basho poster. Ichinojo celebrated his 21st birthday on April 7th. With the yobidashi-themed towel, the Natsu basho free gift for suitably-dressed kimono day spectators. And a few pictures from the canteen, where Ichinojo and some of his fellow students eat after a day at the sumo school. Jonokuchi yusho winner Abiko. His goal for the Natsu basho is another zensho yusho. Abiko and Kotaro share a laugh with Chiyoshuho, one of the active rikishi involved in teaching at the sumo school. Standing from left: Abiko, Iida, Akutsu, Suzuki, Kototakigawa and Makushita Tsukedashi Kawabata. Crouching a little is Kotokimura. Akinomaki 36,900 Posted April 16, 2014 The NSK twitter had announced the wrong date and the sokagenki-tv channel the wrong time, but since it was recorded it doesn't matter. The local channel from Soka city (Saitama) plans to broadcast more asa-geiko once a month - Takadagawa-beya has it's own Ustream channel with videos of past asa-geiko broadcasts - maybe another this year ?Endo was 24-0 with makushita and also lent his chest for butsukari-geiko - he had no interview.http://www.hochi.co.jp/sports/sumo/20140415-OHT1T50262.htmlKyokutenho did the basics and lent his chest for butsukari-geiko.
