DB gives his name as SHARAN Abdelrahman, and it looks like he's written アブデラハム シャーラン = Abuderahamu Shaaran with a very, very poorly written シ. Is that some weird sort of handwriting shortcut? Because it's almost certainly a シ based on the English transliteration, but well, it looks like garbage, not any particular katakana (except maybe ル, which would make no sense). As for the writting, I recall reading or hearing in a video that he did very poorly in that aspect in sumo school, though I guess that's not surprising given how new he was to the language.
