He blitzed the former college yokozuna off the dohyo in like a couple seconds, my memory tells me. Really thought he'd become the first sekitori in Azumazeki, but twas not to be. RIP. Akinomaki 39,562 Posted August 30 (edited) Ex-komusubi Chiyotenzan has died on the 28th at the age of 48. His physical condition had deteriorated lately after fighting against illness for years. After intai he had run a restaurant in Wakayama pref. His funeral will be for close relatives only.
