Doitsuyama 1,173 Posted May 25, 2013 Hakuho won against co-leader Kisenosato to take the sole lead at 14-0, but the ozeki still has a small chance to get the yusho - he must win a still-possible repeat bout in a kettei-sen tomorrow, but first he has to beat Kotoshogiku and hope that Harumafuji prevents the fifth Mongolian zensho yusho in the last six basho. The sanyaku situation is getting more diffcult by the day as Goeido is make-koshi too now, with his aite Chiyotairyu now a possible candidate for a promotion which would still be very lucky with four losses from M10. Tokitenku also reached double digit wins today and is an even better candidate. Both Chiyotairyu and Tokitenku get tough opponents tomorrow though. Two of the three juryo leaders won with Tokushoryu and Kotoyuki reaching 12-2 while Kagamio lost to pursuer Tamawashi. There will definitely be no kettei-sen though as the two leaders meet on senshuraku. Tokushinho should really be safe now but other than that it's still too early to say who will go down to makushita.
