For reference, I ended up receiving Toto entries from 4 players, 3 of whom ended up able to enter them on their own later. I've forwarded the remaining entry (by Jejima) to Doitsuyama. It's a loss, but the addition of his entry will bring Exidrono into the fold, whose drone picks are also a loss, so Gurowake will find himself moving from first loser to last winner, if I haven't made any mental mistake along the way.

@Randomitsuki - if the above is correct, Gurowake finishes 12-3 rather than the currently displayed 11-4, and thus in a different Masters position.

I can't remember who does the Juryo Game banzuke now but Chankoyama spelt her name wrong and so should not be kosho as it says on the banzuke. I think it was 'chankyama' or 'chankoyma' or something like that.

This is hilarious because I'm almost certain the last time this happened in Toto, or at least, some time in the past but maybe not the last time, I went from a winner to a loser.

I thought I was the only one! I thought Nagoya was tough but Aki was ruthless! I got my kk on day 15;  in my personal case, calling Juryo bouts seems to be a problem of late, the bulk of my loses coming from that division. It’s too unestable and it’s tricky to figure out a pattern even in on obvious cases.

@ Fukurou: I think the Doitsubase was down for a couple of minutes half an hour ago, but everything is working fine now. The URL is correct though missing HoshEntry.aspx after the last slash

Thanks @Flohru  I confirm it is working ok now.

I used my link without the ASPX part, so that works too. Don't know why I wouldn't have it there already - must be a mis-copy on my part.

If you look at the Norizo Cup thread, Susanoo indicated that the English version of the Norizo Cup entry page will not be available in time this basho.  All the questions are written in that thread in English, though if you've never entered it before the ones that are the same every basho you wouldn't know anything about.  Even I messed up the first time because I forgot exactly what all of them were.

Does one get a kosho by default in Norizo Cup?  I'm not sure if I have enough time to juggle navigating the Japanese page.

I also would prefer a kosho in Norizo Cup. Reading Kanji is not just too difficult for me, it is simply impossible. The risk of making wrong picks is way too high (of course even in English you have always the risk of picking wrong, but this is something different).

From my point of view the game admins should make an exception and accept Kosho status for the Non-Japanese readers.

Total bullshit in Norizo Cup. Those folks are not willing to make an exception and accept Kosho under these circumstances. Seems they want to get rid of Gaijins. I'm really pissed.

As much as I appreciate your hints, for many of us this is simply impossible. It would have taken more than a hour and with limited time for making picks (from my point of view it should be easy and not time-consuming) i just was not able (and willing) to do so. I'm seriously thinking about INTAI from Norizo Cup.

If they wanted to get rid of gaijin players, who would Susanoo spend hours of his time every basho writing the English version of the questions? He doesn't run the technical side...another guy does the page...and it looks like he found out the problem in the week before the basho but was just too busy to fix it in time. It's a very unfortunate snafu. It is odd to me why they can't accept kosho, though...no idea why.

Hopefully it will all be sorted out by next basho. Zannen.
