This isn't a "bug", merely a lack of a feature, but it looks like the games that display the head-to-head results of rikishi on their entry forms only take the results of sekitori matches.  This certainly makes sense in that they probably aren't downloading and archiving the entire lower division results.  But my system thinks it's rather important that Enho is 0-2 against Akiseyama (the importance being amplified by the fact that its estimation of Enho's skill level has a lot of uncertainty due to there being very few results for him), something that doesn't show up on the entry pages and made me question the winning probability that my system gave me for that match until I checked the DB to see the actual lifetime HTH results.

Then take another minute and hop over to the data base-the stats are from all divisions. That's what I use for my videos.

Oh, I *am* logging and taking into account all lower division matches in my system's calculations, automagically.  It's just that for the one particular match I noted above, it was clear that Toto was not reporting their full history, as the only explanation for why the probability was not heavily in Enho's favor due to the general skill estimate was that he had a bad HTH record against Akiseyama.  It doesn't affect me at all (other than confusing me a little at times and making me think I've done something wrong), it's just something I think should be pointed out for those who use those numbers - they don't take into consideration absolutely every match between the two rikishi, only the ones that those games have cared about and noted the results of, thus not any lower division ones.

looks like Day 2 Sandanme is working on the data base, but Day 1 matches and results are not registering.  Hats off and glasses raised to all the fixers of this prized resource!!

I have a pleasant but worrying surprise with those results. I normally start slowly and build up in Hoshitori, I've nowhere to go but downwards now :/

Not sure if this is affecting anyone else, but I am only able to read the first half of the Makuuchi torikumi on the Bench mailing list, @Jejima This has been the case for the first three days. It is not so important, but I thought I'd better pass it on.

Same here (because of the new larger font, I assume), but there should be a link at the bottom of the mail to see the full version.

If I am not mistaken, the top two in Juryo Game are the same line-up...so Rando should take that into account for the Masters. Congrats to Pitinosato on the yusho there. ;)

I am about to compile Superbanzuke data, and just realized that the GTB data on Doitsuyama's page have not been updated. And I am not talking about the recent GTB competition, but about the previous one. What I would need would be the ranking before Natsu 2018. Does anybody have access to it? If yes, please PM me (or send me an e-mail if you have the address).

Isn't it computed on Kintamayama's website?  You can probably copy his table of results into excel and sort by the column that has their current rank.

No, the data on Moti's website display the results from Natsu and therefore the ranks for Nagoya.

Maybe this would be a good time for me to express my opinion that the SB should in fact use the updated ranks based on the most recent GTB game.  I can understand why it doesn't, but to me GTB is more closely connected to the games of the previous basho than the ones of the basho that takes place using the banzuke that was guessed.  Maybe that's because I always do it immediately after the basho, but the results aren't known until closer to the next.  I think there's much less likely to be an issue of those results not being available compared to the issue we're facing right now.  The only issue is whether it's "proper".  And you're in charge of that as far as I care.
