Games Bugs

Not game bugs, just missing pieces. Does anyone have info on when the Aki Super Banzuke and the Sekitori Toto (regular) banzuke will be published? (always acknowledging real life gets in the way)

What a coincidence of timing. Thank you!

Seki Quad doesn't have the Juryo torikumi now.

I don't recall entry form 1 ever having it last basho.  Entry form 2 shows all sekitori.

Day 1 torikumi is now complete.
I will probably need to fix it manually every day until I find some time to correct it in my code...

Would someone please give Hoshitori its usual boot in the server? It's still displaying Nagoya Day 15 results.

To whoever runs Juryo Game:

the new player "saskacz@wp.pl" is actually me. I have no idea why my entry was not done with Senkoho but with the e-mail address as the shikona. Is it going to be possible for this basho's score to count as Senkoho's?

Okay, what happened to the flag column in the Seki-Toto standings...?

http://sekitoto.sumogames.de/Standing.aspx

I don't know what you're seeing that's so different, but someone else stole my trick to make it easy to find my name in the standings.  Amusingly enough, I didn't choose my country for that reason, I just saw an uninhabited place on the list and thought it would be funny to say I was from there.  The fact that it has no flag and thus stands out on the flag column was a totally serendipitous occurrence.

It looks like this for me on Opera, Chrome and Firefox now:

Toto_mess.png

Edit: How long ago did you switch to that country choice? (I shouldn't have stopped updating the country info in my banzuke files...) I'm especially puzzled that the daily results continue to show the US flag for you.

I find it strange the daily results do as well; I assume that it was something set internally that couldn't be changed, like something that sets when you first sign up, while the standings update based on what you supply each basho.  Edit: Maybe it's based on the banzuke data?

I changed it a very long time ago in relation to how long I've been playing; it's been at least a year if not two or more. Maybe it took someone else to switch to that country to cause it to update for you for some reason.  I'd be interested to know if others have noticed a change.

Nope, not caused by the banzuke data, because what I send in doesn't include any country info. That's strictly based on what's set in your player account, or at least it ought to be.

There are some strange disconnects between the basho hoshitori and the daily results anyway. Back when there was that issue with kosho applications making players disappear from the preceding basho's standings, they continued to be shown in the associated daily results. (Actually I haven't checked in a while; it might still be an issue.) And I've also noticed that shikona changes seem to be reflected differently between the standings and the daily results. I don't recall the exact nature of the differences at the moment.

If the standings pages are an accurate representation of when flags were changed (and I'm not fully sure that they are), then you dropped the UN flag after Aki 2015. I vaguely recall seeing the broken Heard Island flag icon for you, but the totally broken display with the alt text being shown is new, unless I've gone senile recently. Maybe there's been a browser update that has caused it...

Is anyone else not seeing current Hoshitori results? I've tried clearing my cache and am still getting Nagoya Day 15 as the current results.

Over the last few years, the reboot of the Hoshitori Game has been consistently late, but this is the worst I've seen.  I have a group of six friends playing, and we really enjoy watching our fortunes go up and down over the course of the basho.  Having no results for a full half of the tournament is a real bummer.

I'm sure I speak for many when I say I greatly appreciate everything Doitsuyama does for us sumo nerds.  (The Sumo Reference site is amazing.)  But if real-world obligations have started limiting his time, would it be possible for somebody else to take over this one responsibility -- or at least be a backup so we don't get to nakabi with no results?  I'd offer to do it myself, but I don't know what's involved, and I probably don't have the technical skills to do it.

I'm sure Rando will count it as you.

Still nothing so I'm assuming Doitsuyama is either on holiday or extremely busy.  If it's the latter case, I'd be more than happy to update those standings daily, as I already do Fantasy Sumo.  Let me know, Doitsuyama, if you'd like me to take that off your plate at least.

Fixed by Doitsuyama.

Ok, don't worry it will be counted as such for banzuke making purposes. But I'm not sure it is possible to change it in the automation for this basho... Also I will let Rando know if you score any superbanzuke points.

There seems to be a big fat bug in the SG Day 13 scoring. From a first look it seems as if losing rikishi are counted as winners and vice versa
