Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted May 24 Not that bothered but thought I should mention this interesting Hoshitori bug because, with all the kyujo, quite a few other players may be affected too. This is my Hoshitori line-up https://sumodb.sumogames.de/Hoshi/HoshPlayerBasho.aspx?p=810&b=202405 The useless Tobizaru filled in for Takayasu as he should have and then Wakamotoharu when he went on a drinking holiday but it begs the question why he isn't filling in for Kirishima in the 4 slot. Does he dislike him that much?? @Doitsuyama

The Makuuchi bouts are interloped with Juryo, causing havoc- it only fixes itself in the last four bouts, because they are all Makuuchi.

Maybe it would be better to officially state this in the rules to reflect the scoring, but this is way it works, sorry.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't some kind of bug that had escaped notice. Thanks for all your game wizardry. Would love to see you back actually gaming again like back in the day! ;)

A suggestion that would require a change of rules but may ease the coding burden (although a code change should be made): What if the sub replaces the highest kyujo rikishi from your line-up on each day? This way instead of the rules being longer than an EULA, it'd just state this simple fact. The sub value will go up, and I measure his value right now to be quite high. It's a little bit of chaos compared to the way subs work in games like paper oyakata, but I kind of prefer the Hoshitori way. 5 hours ago, Pandaazuma said: That's fine. Interesting idea, but the current way still must be supported in terms of database and reporting, so it doesn't sound like it is making my life all that much easier. Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted May 26 Interesting one here! My match with João in Bench has somehow dropped off the end of the world on the results page. Or is it just me?

Kotononami 86 Posted May 28 Sorry for asking but I don't understand why in Hoshitori, Takayasu is counted as a KK rikishi for some players and not for others.

Randomitsuki 2,768 Posted May 31 Hi there, you might be waiting for the Superbanzuke Masters results. While SCS results for Natsu are now in, the Hoshitori Game standings are still not reflecting actual points. I wrote Doitsuyama earlier this week, but so far I got no response. As I am busy and lazy in equal measures, I was wondering whether someone would volunteer in computing the actual Top 10 of Hoshitori Game. When you copy individual results into an Excel sheet, you can add the actual points and derive at the correct results. Otherwise, we would have to wait for the day that Doitsuyama will upload the correct Hoshitori Game standings by himself.
