Pandaazuma 1,310 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Hello all, This is the official thread in which to make your entries for the 2013 edition of Metasumo. The rules are very simple. You need to create a stable of sumo GAMERS. This stable will come from the final 2012 Sumo Game World Championship standings, which can be found here: http://www.strongoak.net/sb/sbsgwc.html You should choose ONE from each of the rank ranges below: 1: 1-5 2: 6-10 3: 11-20 4: 21-40 5: 41-80 6: 81-120 7: 121-200 8: 201+ You can choose yourself if you want to! There will be no transfers, so if one of your choices is absent, you'll just get zero for him/her that basho. Each gamer will win you masters points if they finish in the top ten in any of the Superbanzuke games in each basho. All masters points will add to your cumulative total. The winner is the person who has the most points at the end of the year. So pick the gamers who you think will bring you Metasumo glory...try to find the bargains in the lower categories and avoid the one-hit wonders in the top ones! First prize will be a big kiss on the lips from me. The person who comes last gets to debate Fujisan about evolution. Enjoy! Simon (Pandaazuma) PS 1. Sorry for the rubbishy coverage of the game this year by me...this was caused entirely by my not being very good with computers and therefore not having much power to do interesting things with the data. The good news is that Randomitsuki has very kindly offered to take over the scoring from next year so updates should be a lot quicker and more interesting. PS 2. I will have the results for 2012 up by tomorrow. Who do you fancy to get the most Masters points and who should you avoid like the plague (hint: Fujisan)? Deadline is the first bout in Juryo on shonichi. Let's try to get more players than last year, eh...especially now that Rando is doing the scoring (making it infinitely more interesting). You should all be ashamed,Not picking me after I performed so well in 2012 finishing 28th despite missing a basho I was well clear of the others in my grouping.... This is how you repay me..
