Question 4 the long time fans

Was going back through some pics and had a thought:

Why don't the wrestlers (in general) work their arms more?

Seems to me the gut should remain as usual but the arms of most rikishi are "flabbier"

than neccesary for really knocking the opponent down:

NOTE: round belly/legs but hewn biceps.

Thoughts on this would be appreciated.

No idea as to the real reason - but it may have something to do with the centre of gravity for the rikishi. This should be low down - I believe. Having a bulked up upper body would result in the centre of gravity being raised, hence making the rikishi less stable....

There is no advantage to be gained from upper-body hypertrophy.
