He has just finished participating in a sumo jinku CD recording produced by ex-Daishi which is slated to be released in May. He was there with other active rikishi from Sandanme - Kotoninsei, Yuuki, and Naniwaryuu. "I was really nervous..I had a rare experience.It was fun to have my jinku mates with me.I sang two songs alone. When I was a kid I wanted to be a singer" he said. He likes to do Karaoke and sings a lot of contemporary songs, but his real love is enka. "I hope it succeeds and I will be able to perform on TV,," he dreamed.
