Fay 1,677 Posted December 18, 2011 the little report: As I promised Kotoshogiku years ago, that I will come to his Ozeki party I am in Japan for 4 days (Raging at computer...) But hey, this might not happen every year, so it's ok. ;-) The party was one of these usual japanese parties, speeches, buffet, a bit music and good bye. We were there for 2 1/2 hours, then everything was over again. Most Oyakata from the ichimon were there, not so many rikishi: Kisenosato, Wakanosato, Takayasu, Takanoyama, Tamawashi, Asasekiryu, moto Tamanoshima, Tamaasuka, Tokushoryu, Naoe, Yoshikaze, Takekaze, Shohozan, Harumafuji, Baruto and maybe some I havn't seen. They said the audience were about 1000 people, I think there were maybe 600. Hakuho was in Osaka for his children tournament. Hanaregoma Oyakata spoke, 2 guys from the kouenkai and one from the yokozuna commitee. It was quite a rude speech, he complained very, very long that all Ozeki were foreigners after Kaio's retirement - when all foreign ozeki were sitting there ... A short speech from Sadogatake Oyakata (In love...) (In love...) (In love...) and a bit longer one from a nervous Kotoshogiku. A big buffet and Kotoshogiku had to walk through the hall and had to shake hands and pose for pics. So did Sadogatake Oyakata.
