rodarvus 2 Posted April 21, 2004 Hi there, my name is Rodrigo, a 26 years old guy from Curitiba, Brazil. (is there anyone else from Brazil here? :) ) I've been following this forum (as a guest) for a few months, and today I decided it was time for me to be a part of it :) (oh, I don't know how to use the smileys very well, let's do a test ---> (Laughing...) ) I have a great interest regarding sumo, and the japanese culture generally speaking. Finally, I'm also on the sumo mailing list, and try to keep myself informed about sumo, reading about it regularly (more like daily :) ) Looking forward to take part on the new threads of this forum, Rodrigo

Zenjimoto 39 Posted April 21, 2004 Welcome, welcome! (Laughing...) Great to see a fan from Brazil, after all a country with quite a tradition in pro sumo! :-) Enjoy the forum, and give those sumo games a try... the Brazilian team is terribly underprepresented in the Nations' Cup at this time! :-D Cheers Zenjimoto

No kachi-kochi in three different games... we'll see how it goes next time (Laughing...)

Feginowaka 53 Posted April 22, 2004 I think you are the first Brazilian here, but I'm not sure.. (Laughing...) There aren't too many Brazilian Sumo Fans indeed. Therefore welcome rodarvus! You might be the first Brazilian in this forum, but there is at least one more Brazilian Sumo Fan out there: According to the Superbanzuke Chiyotokimiya is Brazilian, too. And Schwabono starts for Brazil as well in JuryoGame, but I doubt that he is Brazilian. As he's a member of the german Forum and German Tippspiel I consider him as German. Kaikitsune Makoto 189 Posted April 22, 2004 Welcome! Good time to be a Brazilian sumofan as also Tomozuna had a new Brazilian in Haru basho. Kainohama did well in his debut with 5-2 score including a loss to makushita level Onishi. According to the Superbanzuke Chiyotokimiya is Brazilian, too. He was once a Finn too and when I asked him about that, he said he just liked to change nationalities randomly so probably not a real Brazilian (Laughing...) I was looking for a brazilian gamer and brought the thread back up. Although i do like that you take the time to salute every new member and make them feel welcome.
