(onemillionthirtysixthousandyen) Thanks, I meant will he get paid the Makuuchi salary from the "new banzuke" or will he still get paid the juryo salary until May? The new juryo guys will get the new salary as it is a huge difference, but wondering about the guys to Makuuchi.. I've said what needs to happen countless times. Ozumo is rotten to the core. You can't fix it any more than you can take a rotten apple and make it a fresh one. The Kyokai must be destroyed, and professional sumo must be rebuilt from scratch. During the last crisis I outlined a proposal turning professional sumo into something similar to professional tennis, but nobody much cared for that suggestion, so I won't bother linking to it. "I brought my mobile phone and my bankbook but they told me they won't be needing them," said Bushuuyama who was one of those questioned today. "We are not the police so we have limited clout.. It's going to be tough to get to the bottom of all this.." said one of the committee members. All those questioned today were subject to about an hour of questioning each except Toyozakura (mentioned specifically in one of the mails) who was interrogated for two hours.
