Any chance of getting the Burns emoticon added to the smilies list?

In few days there are chances for that. If there is a punk rocker emoticon, there has to be Burns-emoticon too.

I am nothing to do with your argument with me you have worked yourself in to this fight alone Bennyloh, I have not helped you.

A new low for any one to be able to argue with someone who is not aruging back....strange indeed, these PM's I am getting are not right, I am nothing but the name bennyloh has screamed!

I am sure I will recive no apology, though I feel one is needed!

C'mon, give it a rest Mojo, as tominishiki-san has recommended...this is getting silly.

If you are getting PM's you feel are unjustified or rude let the moderators know - they will sort it out. (if I err in my understanding forgive me but the quoted post was written rather confusingly)

However, don't play the innocent Mojo - 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. And as for the apology comment - (Eh?) . Wouldn't you owe a few elsewhere were that the case?

And Spam-san - welcome (In a state of confusion...) wlecome (Eh?) welcome. The 26th it is. :-D

Welcome!! Spam....

I'm sorry that your new member introduction got so many arguments! I hope that you won't see this sort of silly arguments too often in the future since we don't have so many spoiled teenagers. (In a state of confusion...)

Thanks Amanogawa, I'm sure I will. The avatar is spam musubi. Good stuff, but I'm really a huge fan of traditional Japanese food as well. Luckily there's no shortage of excellent Japanese restaurants here in Vancouver!

Thanks Spamusubiyama! I didn't know it's the English term ( spam musubi / spam riceball ) already! (Yikes...) :-D I was shockingly amused :-D when I found those words in my dictionary.. Cool. Do you English speaking people use these words often? And could you tell me a little about "spam musubi" ( in general ) please?? What is it actually??

mmm.... I'm interested now. :-)

I wouldn't say that English speakers use these words often, only when referring to 'spam' or 'musubi' by themselves, or the particular food 'spam musubi'.

If you're not familiar with spam, it's short for spiced ham, and is a canned meat product. Check out http://www.spam.com. It's quite famous (or maybe infamous) and is often ridiculed for its somewhat mysterious and suspect nature.

For spam musubi, try http://www.yale.edu/engl450b/Hongo,_Spam_Musubi.html.

LOL!!! :-D ROFL!!! :-)

Thanks Spamusubiyama-zeki, really so much for these links.

You know what? I thought it was "spam" as "spam mail" ( like (Spam...) )

so guess how startled I was when you wrote "spam musubi"..."What? is

this a new joke? So this thin red thing on the sushi-rice must emblematize

'spam mail' " :-D .....

Stupid that I was but I just laughed a lot in front of my PC for some while

and it was kind of nice. :-) Noritama rushed to me and asked "What's

so funny tell me tell me!!!" -He laughed a lot too. (Laughing...)

Thanks again Spam-zeki, for kindly answering to my silliest-ever questions. :-D

I believe "spam mail" does come from the same source. Spam meat essentially means "low-grade, processed meat", while spam mail also is a kind of "low grade, processed" thing of itself, so the analogy does catch on.
