Kofuji 0 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) On Day 5, Kisenosato finishes up with the Ozeki. This time it's Kotooshu bringing in the bandwagon. Our undefeated Komsubi duo joined by Kuromori and Kofuji are invited to make an early pick for day 6. Kofuji 0 Posted November 17, 2010 Day 6 - Kakaryu ... Thankfully Kisenosato has already faced Harumafuji so the latter's withdrawal will not affect my pre-basho prediction.
kuroimori 1,634 Posted November 17, 2010 Kakuryu for Day 6, please.

Holleshoryu 15 Posted November 17, 2010 me too ... kakuryu
Jakusotsu 5,817 Posted November 17, 2010 Tricky, most possibilities so far, but I agree with Day 6 - Kakuryu
Maguroyama 27 Posted November 17, 2010 Boring as it is, they ARE following formula A1, so Day 6 - Kakuryu
Andonishiki 168 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) well, I go with the flow Day 6 - Kakuryu hoping for a fair bout, not a rigged one like on day 4 vs Kaio. The Kyokai must really believe most of the fans are ok with such shameful Kaio wins. I am not. anyway... Edited November 17, 2010 by Andonishiki

Asashosakari 18,832 Posted November 18, 2010 With no clue yet how the Harumafuji withdrawal will shake things up, I'll go with the safe choice of Kakuryu for Day 6, too...

Kofuji 0 Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) On Day 6, Kisenosato gets the East Sekiwake, Tochiozan. This derails the bandwagon pick of Kakuryu and confounds my pre-basho predictions. Aran got one vote, but only XiaoTan gets it right so joins the formerly undefeated as the ones invited to make an early pick. I can see a Kakuryu bandwagon forming in the distance ... Yaochoyama (Y1E 2-4) Y1 O1 Profomisakari (O1W 3-3) Jakusotsu (S1E 4-2) S1 Gernobono (S1W 3-3) Maguroyama (S2E 2-4) S2 Jejima (S2W 4-2) Kotoviki (K1E 5-1) K1 Hidariashiyama (K1W 5-1) Asashosakari (M1E 4-2) M1 Holleshoryu (M1W 2-4) Kuroimori (M2E 5-1) M2 Chisaiyama (M2W 4-2) Oshirokita (M3E 3-1-2) M3 XiaoTan (M3W 5-1) Kofuji (M4E 5-1) M4 Kameumi (M4W 2-3-1) Andonishiki (M5E 4-2) M5 Mae-zumo Shimodahito (mz 3-3) Kisenosato's aites: 1. O1W Baruto, 2. Y1E Hakuho, 3. O2E Harumafuji, 4. O2W Kaio, 5. O1E Kotooshu 6. S1E Tochiozan Edited November 18, 2010 by Kofuji
Andonishiki 168 Posted November 18, 2010 the bandwaggon just crashed against the wall - day 6 is ozan !
Kofuji 0 Posted November 18, 2010 Hmmm ... now the problem ... Tochiozan was certainly a possibility for day 6 and could have appeared as early as day 2 but day 7 seemed like a better choice given the other options ... now Kakuryu could appear as late as Day 10 and I'd hate to ride on that many bandwagons :( Well, I'm just going to hope they swapped the Sekiwake for today and therefore: Day 7 - Kakuryu
Kotoviki 16 Posted November 18, 2010 I too will go with Kakuryu again. I thought it would be one or the other of them.... oh well!!
