Doitsuyama 1,178 Posted July 12, 2010 Harumafuji recovered from his day 1 loss with a win over shn-komusubi Tochinoshin, but now another ozeki had a surprising defeat as Baruto fell victim to an Aran okuridashi. Kaio and Kotooshu won to stay undefeated along with yokozuna Hakuho (now on a 34 bouts long win streak, improving on his personal best of 33 bouts set from Hatsu to Natsu 2009), sekiwake Kisenosato and six maegashira rikishi. The juryo division is smaller than usual but there are seven rikishi at 2-0, mostly the experienced type who seem to cope better with the current turmoils as six of them are at least 32 years old. And even the youngest, 26 years old Masatsukasa, also has almost five years of sekitori experience. Shin-juryo Kaisei got his first win while the second shin-juryo Sadanoumi still is winless. Vikanohara 171 Posted July 13, 2010 What went wrong here ? http://sumoreference.com/Rikishi_opp.aspx?r=795&r2=6010 Tamaasuka vs. Kimurayama 2-1[+1] it says, but it's actually 4-6.
Doitsuyama 1,178 Posted July 13, 2010 What went wrong here ?http://sumoreference.com/Rikishi_opp.aspx?r=795&r2=6010 Tamaasuka vs. Kimurayama 2-1[+1] it says, but it's actually 4-6. Actually it's 4-4[+1]... I guess in Kyushu 2009 day 5 (when the counting accidentally restarted) their torikumi probably was entered wrongly on the Kyokai site, and later corrected, as I copy the last count to the new bout (and increment the appropriate field by one after the bout). If a rikishi gets changed in the bout, I correct that, but not the counters as I was too lazy to program that...

Doitsuyama 1,178 Posted July 13, 2010 Actually it's 4-4[+1]... 4-5[+1]? Thanks, that helped me... my local copy had it at 4-4[+] because in Aki 2009, day 12 (the bout before the counting apparently was reset) the bout was missing, and Kokkai-Hokutoriki appeared two times. This obviously was corrected later, and for some reason my local copy didn't catch the correction. I hope it's correct now.
