Manekineko 200 Posted February 21, 2004 I had great fun once in amateur comparative linguistics with Czechs. (Being unsure...) The languages are similar, yet different enough for funniest misunderstandings. I hear Slovak is closer to Croatian then Czech is... Anyway, I think we could understand each other without aid of english, but with lots of hand waving and grimacing. ;-)

Thats true! My friends were in Croatia and they said that first day they didnt understand anything but few days later there was no problem for them to comunicate without English or German. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted February 27, 2004 I am another neighbor from Hungary. You found the greatest forum, you can hear and discuss every aspect of sumo here Yes, especially yaocho, henka, religion, politics, and the kosho rules. You can discuss all of those without fear of attacks :-D Just kidding, of course. Those topics are likely to cause a mess. But we do try to stay polite, balanced, and civilized, and Rijicho is ever-watching. :-) (Eating...)
