Kozaru 0 Posted November 28, 2009 I wonder if the people who choose Kotomitsuki or "no idea" will stick their necks out and identify themselves in the thread. I'd be too embarrassed to admit it if I thought anything other than Kaio tomorrow. Of course, one can only hope that some legitimacy might reappear someday, and why not tomorrow? On second thought.....
ilovesumo 12 Posted November 28, 2009 hehehehe............... KAIOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo I say they dance around for a few seconds, then Kaio beats Mickey with a super beautiful Uwatehineri....

Sokkenaiyama 81 Posted November 28, 2009 It's amazing that even now debates like these still take place. (Clapping wildly...) K(Y) for me too - and I don't mean the lube or the above poster. (Whistling...)
Harry 67 Posted November 28, 2009 Where's the Kaio because of Ozeki Back Scratcher Club option? (Clapping wildly...)
Harry 67 Posted November 28, 2009 I voted Kotomitsuki (no yaocho) because I originally said 9-6 for Mickey in guess the Mickey. Somebody please pass the mickey...
yorikiried by fate 2,029 Posted November 28, 2009 If Kaio loses, I will lose faith.

Kozaru 0 Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) 20% of voters choosing "No idea" or "Kotomitsuki" seemed strange, until I remembered that about 30% of Americans thought George W. Bush was doing a good job right until the end. At least the people who chose "Kaio (no yaocho)" got to deny the OBSC, while still choosing the obvious result. A sly position, that one is. Kozaru 0 Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) I don't mean or want to be so antagonistic on the forum, but I just can't believe some people still deny the trend right in front of their faces. I wish betting was allowed on the forum so that I could rob them blind. Edited November 29, 2009 by Kozaru

OTOH, many people believe the 2000K bug was real, the world will end in 2012, and the Cubs will win the World Series. The Y2K bug was real. It was prevented by the work of who-knows-how-many programmers who patched the software. If nobody had patched the software, you'd have seen some trouble, though probably not apocalyptic. As for the betting, I'd even give odds. 5-1, 10-1, doesn't matter, just put up that money on the Kotomitsuki win! (Laughing...)
Asashosakari 19,592 Posted November 29, 2009 It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. No, not the ozeki guys.
Kozaru 0 Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.No, not the ozeki guys. Is that directed at me? Your posts are often cryptic enough that it's hard to tell, and I know you're not a fan of my position and volume on this issue. Just come out and say whatever it is that you're trying to say. Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted November 29, 2009 I didn't see the bout as I was recuperating from sleep deprivation. That said, je ne regrette rien. All I ask is proof but I'm not counting of ever being presented it. Someboby should leak that tape.

Kozaru 0 Posted November 29, 2009 I find it funny too, dude. No offense, but it's hilarious to see a guy banging his head against the wall and wondering why he's the one bleeding. Am I bleeding? Didn't notice. Checking for blood.... nope. Seems I'm just always right on this issue. I'd say the bleeders are the ones who still think it's legit and don't know the match outcome in advance. A bleeder might also be one who has had enough of hearing of this, but keeps clicking on the threads anyway. Also, I fail to see how this is different from your constant efforts to convince people that the Mongols are trading yushos. You're known as Mr. Conspiracy. If I'm bleeding, then you are too. But I wouldn't say either of us is, even though I am not convinced of your Mongol hypothesis.

All I ask is proof but I'm not counting of ever being presented it. Someboby should leak that tape. You know as well as we do that no proof will ever surface, as only a confession would do. And if a confession is made after retirement of one guy, it would be attributed to his bitterness or an attempt to get a book deal. Don't regret, just bet the right way next time. Unfortunately, there WILL be a next time. Edited November 29, 2009 by Kozaru
Sokkenaiyama 81 Posted November 29, 2009 Chill, I didn't mean any harm. Jeez, some are so sensitive these days. I meant you're trying to convince the wrong people. It's like trying to convert a religious nutcase to atheism - it will only give you a headache (or a bomb in your car).
Asashosakari 19,592 Posted November 29, 2009 Darn, ignore function defeated by second-hand quotes again. Not since Scott Kahn's passionate defenses of poor widdle Asashoryu against those Kyokai geezer meanies has so much been written about so little... Is that directed at me? Your posts are often cryptic enough that it's hard to tell, and I know you're not a fan of my position and volume on this issue. Just come out and say whatever it is that you're trying to say. You don't know what I'm trying to say? Damn that memory loss epidemic. Just scroll back to two months ago and you'll find me saying exactly what I would be saying now (and, since hope springs eternal, will be saying again now). Of course, you'll also find yourself saying exactly what you're saying now, right down to the whining about how awesome everything would be if only people took you seriously enough to bet you. Just keep that up, and it'll become patently obvious to even the last person* that it's long stopped being about the issue for you and all about getting to show up those who were mean enough to disagree with you and your brilliant insights. As I said, it would be hilarious if... Did I already suggest a period of serious introspection? It's hard to believe that somebody could be so singularly incapable of understanding how he's coming across to those reading his posts. (I'm just about at the point where I'm hoping that you're not actually for real and it's all a masterful piece of trolling performance art.) Well, back to ignore for at least two months since there's only so much I can take of this silliness at one sitting. I could probably predict with 90+% accuracy what you said in all the posts I didn't see, anyway. * Future tense used purely out of courtesy; I strongly suspect it already has become obvious to the last person. Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted November 29, 2009 You know as well as we do that no proof will ever surface, as only a confession would do. Don't tell me what I know or don't know. The proof exists in the form of an audio tape, I'm told. On that tape discussions between identifiable oyakatas about the planned yaocho schemes can reportedly be heard. Somebody, just leak the tape and let's be done with it. I certainly don't know that truth about the existence of yaocho. Therefore I don't make claims about it. As long as the so-called proof is solely about mathemagical calculations (of which I, as an idiot, don't understand anything anyway) I'll continue ignoring the alleged yaocho as a factor in sumo gaming. I might be a stupid, old fart but at least I'm not cynical.
